Practicing what they preach, The Gifting Institute consists of a dynamic team of individuals, each with a unique passion and style. All the Associates have been carefully selected for their exceptional abilities and diversity in the market place. Each has undergone intensive training, and all remain in close contact with one another, regularly meeting to discuss, brainstorm and share their experiences.

After graduating as schoolteachers in the early 70’s, Keith and Joy’s career paths have taken some interesting turns. Intrepid entrepreneurs, they have been involved in a number of different business ventures – including property development, hoteliering, restauranteering, theatre and real estate.
As The Gifting Institute’s demand grew in momentum, Joy joined Keith to partner with him. Together, over the past 7 years, Keith and Joy have touched the lives of thousands of people across the country, through The Gifting Institute’s powerful programme. Their time has been spent working into a complete cross-section of companies, institutions, teams and industries. They are also members of the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council).
Keith and Joy have been married for over 30 years and have three grown children. |

Jabu's first job was as an English schoolteacher and he taught for 2 years. His desire to get into the business world led him to complete a Business Management Diploma. After joining South Africa's leading FMGC distributor, he was appointed as a branch manager controlling an operation turning over millions of Rands. Later, Jabu was promoted to Training and Development Manager, in charge of 35 stores in South Africa and Swaziland. Responsible for recruitment, coaching, assessments and moderations, Jabu also successfully designed and implemented various training programmes and manuals that have been accredited by the W&R SETA. He is a qualified assessor and moderator.
Passionate about imparting knowledge and changing people’s lives for the good, Keith and Jabu have partnered together to form The Gifting Institute Centre. Apart from Jabu's phenomenal success in both business and public speaking, Jabu also has his own radio programme, in which he teaches people how to create wealth. |

Barrie lives in Cape Town with his wife. They have two married children and a number of grandchildren. As a Chartered Accountant (SA), Barrie has accumulated a total of 25 years experience in South Africa and the UK with Deloitte and KPMG.
Having also been a Partner at KPMG for seven of those years, Barrie has served on the boards of listed companies in retail and assurance sectors as finance director and non-executive director.
He has fourteen years of experience as senior partner and shareholder in one of the largest global executive search consultancies, based in Johannesburg and Cape Town. This experience includes executive search, corporate coaching, counseling and leadership assessment. Barry is also a member of the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council). |

Born in Mpumalanga, Tim proceeded to the University of Zululand where he completed his Secondary Teachers Diploma. After becoming principal of Thembisa High School, Tim was later made Inspector of Schools for the Johannesburg region. Later still, another promotion saw him working at Head Office in Pretoria as a Chief Education Specialist. Throughout this time, he enjoyed helping people develop their teaching and managerial skills.
The political pressure that existed prior to democracy, forced Tim to go and study at Michigan State University in the USA, where he completed a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and another Masters in Curriculum and Teaching. Tim completed his Ph.D. in Educational Administration at the same university. Upon returning to South Africa, he managed his own business for two years before becoming employed by the Mpumalanga Department of Education as the Head of Department (Deputy Director General).
At present, Tim runs his own businesses and believes that joining the Gifting Institute is one of the best choices he has ever made in his life. “It gives me the opportunity to be excited about my work and to share my gift of developing other people to reach the potentials they never dreamt they could.” |

Tim grew up in Zimbabwe and was schooled at Falcon College where he developed an enthusiasm for leadership and sport, in particular rugby and running. He traveled extensively before gaining a commission into the Royal Marines in 1992, serving in Northern Ireland, West Africa and the former Soviet Union. Tim also managed training programmes in the UK, USA and Western Europe. In 2001 he returned to Africa and completed his MBA in Cape Town.
Angela was born and educated in the Netherlands, moving to Vancouver, Canada in 1995. After completing her University degree she joined the education division of the Franklin Covey organization performing a variety of roles, culminating in the opportunity to share from both the Stephen Covey 7 Habits and What Matters Most concepts with students and educators in both Canada and North America. Angela relocated to South Africa in 2002.
Tim and Angela both share a passion and excitement for people development. Together they direct the Cape Leadership Centre utilizing The Gifting Institute’s methodology as a basis for their focus on Leadership Development. |

Originally from Nelspruit and Pietermaritzburg respectively, James and Simi are both now based in Pretoria. Having worked at the Pretoria State theatre and in Gauteng government, James now works with SABC, as Sports Reporter for Radio Ligwalagwala.
Simi worked at The Department of Education in KZN before joining Standard Bank in Pretoria as a Business Banker. Thanks to their current jobs, James and Simi find themselves constantly exposed to different people, different races and different cultures. Their passion to work with people led them to discover The Gifting Institute. The common love for people they found here unified them from the start.
Together, James and Simi believe that they have a part to play in making a difference to the world, through The Gifting Institute. |

Frieda was a teacher for 7 years before moving into the business world, working mostly with large financial institutions where she focused on product development and promotion; marketing; sales and communication. She qualified as Corporate Business Woman of the Year in the Western Cape in 1994, and has been the speaker at numerous conferences and radio talks during the past 10 years.
Frieda has a heart for motivating and facilitating change in people's lives. Her in-depth experience in the corporate world provides her with invaluable insight when working with businesses and companies. |

Des has been involved in financial management within a number of industries over the past 20 years, including oil, transport, printing, education and non-profit organisations. After completing his M.B.A degree at Stellenbosch, he started his own consulting business with the focus on “providing complete solutions for the entrepreneur.” He has also lectured in cost and management accounting.
Louise, his wife and best friend, has extensive experience in sales and marketing. She has also put her organisational skills and creative flair to good effect through event management.
As husband and wife duo, Des and Louise offer a unique and exciting Gifting Institute Programme. Believing that the principles shared through the programme will have a lasting positive and profound effect on each individual, their personal commitment to each business or team is highly valued. |

Clive was born and educated in East London. He has been involved in marketing and selling into the building industry for the past 25 years and has completed a diploma in Marketing and Sales
Clive has managed branches in Durban and Port Elizabeth, as well as setting up and running a distribution centre into the Western Cape and Namibian markets. He is currently involved in the solar industry. He enjoys golfing, scuba diving and is a sport fanatic.
Being involved in sales and working with people, Clive has been able to grow his passion to see people reach their full potential and realise their true destiny. As an associate of the Gifting Institute he is able to do this with confidence. |
